Blue Jackets v Islanders: Thomas Greiss v A Traffic Cone, Who will stop more shots?

So....This game....my god. The Blue Jackets are really good, or the Islanders are just very very bad. I myself went to the game and noticed a few things. First of all the best part of the game....wasn’t actually while it was played...It was beforehand. However we will get to that later so be ready for that fruitful story. The Blue Jackets played very well, some players that never score, hint hint Ryan Murray, scored. 2 players got their first NHL goals as well, overall tonight was a great night for Columbus. Panarin racked up 3 assists in his first game as a Blue Jacket, and proved that he is very, and I mean very quick. For the Islanders on the other hand....wow. Thomas Greiss looked like Matt Murray 2.0, as he was pulled midway through the second period after letting in 5 goals. Jaroslav Halak, who last year went to the Islanders AHL affiliate the Bridgeport Sound Tigers because he played so terribly, played very well in my opinion. The Islanders seem as if their defense is overpaid, slow, and terrible...well this is a true statement. All in all for the Islanders it was a terrible performance, and was just completely dreadful. For the Blue Jackets on the other side of the spectrum, the NHL better watch out. They made a statement...and they still have Boone Jenner on IR and Josh Anderson in the minors for a conditioning stunt. The young talent on the team really showed this game as Zach Werenski, Ryan Murray, Pierre-Luc Dubois, and Sonny Milano got on the board, all 24 of under...the Blue Jackets young talent is nothing to be weary of that is for sure. Next, for the part you all have been waiting for, the pregame antics. First things first, never insult an old couple. 97.1 the fan, the local radio station for Columbus sports had a live show at pregame. Joking around one of the analysts was calling out people with different uniforms than Blue Jackets clothing items on. One of the analysts called out an older lady, 70’s or so about how she was wearing Steelers gear on live radio. Her husband, also about 70 decided to go to the radio booth, in which they are live, and on air and start a fight. Keep in mind this man is 70 years old...this did not go over well, let’s just say that there were many different exchanges that happened. Okay..I’m done. Hopefully you all enjoyed that little story of mine. Now back to hockey. I give you one final thought. The New York Islanders are bad and the Columbus Blue Jackets are good.
